About a Boy

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.
Have you ever looked into the eyes of a child and see the unconditional love that lives deep within them?

We as parents set the example of whom they become one day and if we criticize them, they will learn to condemn.

If a child lives with hostility, he learns to fight
If a child lives with shame, he learns to feel guilty
If a child lives with tolerance, he learns to be patient
If a child lives with encouragement, he learns confidence
If a child lives with praise, he learns to appreciate
If a child lives with fairness, he learns justice
If a child lives with security, he learns faith
If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself
If a child lives with acceptance and friendship; he learns to find love

2 Timothy 3:14-17 

But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.

Love is a beautiful thing.....

Winter is almost gone and the smell of spring hangs in the air waiting to bring forth new life.  Some of us dread the winter each year, because there are so many unfortunate people who have to tolerate the long and cold winter nights while living on the streets with no shelter, but each season has a purpose and brings forth new life and the hope of better things to come.  The wise words from the song of Bette Midler
 "The Rose" explains it so beautifully.
"Just remember in the winter far beneath the winter snow lies the seed that with the sun's love, in the spring becomes the rose".
God also speaks about the importance of seasons in the bible and in Ecclesiastes 3:11 He describes how beautiful God's works are from beginning to end.

"He has made every thing beautiful in His time: also he has set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God makes from the beginning to the end".

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 
1To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

If I had to re-write "The Rose" I would replace only one word.....
... with God's love the spring becomes the rose.

His Love for us is far greater than the love we have for one another because His love is never ending, merciful and gracious.

Psalm 103:8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love

1 John 4:19  We love because God loved us first

1 John 4:19-21 Yes, we love him because he first loved us. If a man says, “I love God” and hates his brother, he is a liar. For if he does not love the brother before his eyes how can he love the one beyond his sight? And in any case it is his explicit command that the one who loves God must love his brother too. 

Love is....

patient
kind
not boastful
not proud
not rude
not demanding of it's own way
not irritable
not keeping record of wrong
not rejoicing in injustice
rejoicing whenever truth wins out
never giving up
never losing faith
always hopeful
enduring through every circumstance

The bible says:
God is Love
and and I say:
Love is a Beautiful thing........

Beauty Within

Spending time with this model is always an honor.  Thank you Mariska for always being there for me when I need a model to practice on.  You are truly an amazing young woman, always patient and ready to do your best.  I treasure these moments together.

One of God's greatest creation is a woman.  She is someone who's beauty shines from within. No wonder God dedicated almost a whole chapter to describe this amazing woman that He created.

In Proverbs 31 God says that she is more precious than rubies and then He tells us that there are many virtuous and capable woman in the world, but you surpass them all.

She works hard and you can trust her
She extends a helping hand to the poor
She is clothed with strength and dignity 

Proverbs 31:30 - 31
"Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last, but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.  Reward her for all she has done.  Let her deeds publicly declare her praise."

Prince Charming

Wow I haven't been online for such a long time, but I am back after doing a wonderful course to better my Photography skills.  I am still a work in progress but enjoyed every moment and will continue to learn, listen and practice.

I had the wonderful opportunity to practice on "Prince Charming" and together we had loads of fun and laughter.

Thank you Branden-Roy for your patience and being a real Prince Charming. You are a real gentleman and every mother's dream son and the envy of many a young men.

My Sweet Little Princess

As mothers we are so fortunate to hold and experience the tiny bodies of beautiful bouncing babies in our arms.  They smell like rosebuds after the rain and their googoos and gaggas make us smile with pride and joy.

It’s a sweet miracle trusted onto us to provide them with safety and then tend to their needs and most of all to love them unconditionally.

 I had so much fun with this sweet little Princess.  For one whole hour she entertained me and made me smile.
